Zdenka Hušková has been inspired by the styles of decor she found in the Görlitz Waidhaus and in the Halaisled hall houses in the historic district of the city. She discovers concrete details predominantly in plant motifs in the exterior and interior of these buildings and captures them in numerous drawings and sketches. She continues to work on these chosen styles artistically until different manifestations come into existence. She aptly calls the structural graphics emerging from this process “shaped designs/décor in motion” as they almost tangibly correlate to the concepts of Stadt-Raum-Kunst. They reveal breath-taking, deeply penetrating motions that appear to be determined to use their full force to overpower the space around them.
